I am in my 40s and my menstral cycle is off and I have horrible symptoms now. Breast are sore, bloating, no patience. Tried juicing and will not do birth control or other things the doctor suggested. Any ideas?
Answer This is a difficult question to answer without more in-depth information on your current health and your health and lifestyle history. Our hormones are a very delicate balance and they are greatly effected by our diet, stress, and other lifestyle factors.
Caffeine, sugar, stress, dietary toxins, environmental toxins and lack of exercise can all add to hormonal imbalance. You may or may not be experiencing peri-menopause, but your diet choices definately impact your symptoms. A whole body detox will help to clear toxins that may be causing the underlying imbalance. Cleaning out toxins and getting superior nutrition can help to re-balance hormone levels.
We commend you for researching alternatives to chemical-based allopathic remedies. These do not sound warranted based on the information you've shared and could cause further imbalance. However, you may benefit from visiting a Naturopathic Doctor and seeking natural remedies.
A Holistic Health Counselor can also help you by assessing your overall lifestyle factors and guiding you on a path that will balance your system and relieve your symptoms. For more information on this type of coaching or to schedule a free consultation, visit Jo's Radiant Balance website.
