Lemon Sugar Free Jello
All natural ginger lemon sugar free jello is a deliciously refreshing treat you can enjoy during detox. This recipe is easy to make and calls for only a few simple, detoxifying ingredients.
Lemons and limes are powerfully cleansing foods. Their antiseptic qualities will clear your body of harmful microbes and built up mucous. Agar Agar is made of the gelatinous parts of several different types of seaweed. It is an all natural vegan gelatin replacement. It’s a good dietary source of calcium and iron. And it has no calories! Agar agar promotes digestion and weight loss. It also helps reduce inflammation and carries toxic and radioactive wastes out of your body.
This dessert is light and easy to digest. It’s helpful to eat less during the evenings and refrain from desserts after dinner during your detox. Ingredients:
(use organic whenever possible)
- 2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
- ¼ cup concentrated apple or grape juice
- ½ teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 cups purified water
- 2 tablespoons agar agar
Directions:
- Grate ginger.
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and stir well to help agar agar dissolve.
- Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour into a shallow bowl, jello mold or individual serving containers.
- Refrigerate for about an hour, until firm.
