Possible to Detox Too Often?

My husband and I planned meals, shopped and encouraged one another throughout our first detox experience during the recent Holiday Recovery Group Detox. We had fun trying new foods and new recipes, and we've decided to make all of the ones we tried staples of our ongoing diet.
During the detox, we both experienced detox symptoms, but by the time we hit day 5....we were feeling powerful!! New and clean are words that accurately describe how we felt. The effort that went into planning and executing the detox diet was well worth it.
We've proven to ourselves that good, whole food tastes great and makes us feel great. Our only question: is it possible to "detox" too often?
Answer: We are so glad that you are both feeling "powerful, new and clean!" It is so possible to feel this way all the time by eating a clean and healthy diet. The way we teach people to eat in the Whole Body Detox Diet is the way we strive to eat ALL THE TIME!
You cannot detox too often if you are following our gentle guidelines, using our recipes and using the tools provided. With the exception of the Detox Tea which you should limit to 2 weeks at a time, you can continue to follow the diet indefinately.
The Detox Tea has powerful detox herbs in it that you can switch out or rotate with other wild herbs. And even if you choose to follow a completely vegan whole foods diet, you will receive wholesome, complete nutrition, especially if you add in a few superfood supplements.
But the reality is that many of us slip back into old habits and get "messy" about our way of eating. So joining an intentional detox program, at least several times per year, is a great practice. How often do you change the oil in our car? This would definately not be too often to clean up your diet and chase out the debris.
