Cherry Ginger Almond Milkshake

Did we say milkshake? Why, of course! You didn’t think we’d let you detox without a delicious milkshake recipe, did you? You can have this delicious, healthy shake for breakfast, a mid-afternoon snack, or dessert. Recipes like this will help you through your detox without falling off the wagon.

This recipe is made from homemade raw almond milk, fresh ginger and cherries. It will give you great detox support and nourishment while satisfying your desires for a sweet treat that’s cold and creamy.

Cherries are strengthening to the blood and help reduce acidity in your body. Ginger stimulates digestion and circulation, improving the elimination of toxins. And almonds, besides being loaded with great minerals and protein, are also alkalizing and detoxifying to your body. When raw almonds are soaked, as they are in this recipe, their full enzyme potential and life force is activated.

This recipe calls for frozen almond milk cubes. You can either make raw almond milk at home or buy it at the store. Homemade raw almond milk is healthier in several ways. Click here to read more on how to select healthy non-dairy milk.

Once you have the almond milk, pour some of it into an ice cube tray so that your cubes are ready to go when you want them. From there all you have to do is blend and enjoy!
