Green Smoothie Recipe for Aiding Digestion

The primary tip for improving digestion is to take your green smoothie as a meal, without solid food. Allow time to digest your smoothie before eating other foods. Use 2-3 inches of ginger in your smoothie to aid digestion as well. Other than that, simply follow any of our

If digestion is still sluggish or backed up, add 2-3 tablespoons of ground flax seed to your smoothie or if preferred, drink the flax seed separately in a cup of warm water. Psyllium husk is another aid for digestion - use it the same way - first thing in the morning.
Green smoothies can stir up toxins and may release more than your body can eliminate quickly. It will take time to adjust to a cleaner system and stablize your digestion. So keep drinking smoothies,
cleanse the colon to speed up the transition, and use additional fiber like flax meal and psyllium husk for added bulk and better elimination.
